Students:
In addition to traditional afterschool and evening lesson timeslots, daytime hours are available for homeschool families and those wishing to take advantage of the School Administration Act, Section 6, Subsection 2, which states: “A child is excused from attendance at school if he is absent from school for the purpose of receiving instruction in music and the period of absence does not exceed one-half day in any week.”
Students come from Kitchener, Waterloo, Cambridge, Guelph, Baden, New Dundee, Elmira, and surrounding areas to study here. Many have achieved outstanding musical accomplishments, and include representatives and scholarship winners at local, provincial, and national competitions, plus top medal recipients for the highest RCM marks achieved in Ontario.
